Petras Hats

For Petras graphics project she needed some photographs of people wearing hats. I naively offered without any kind of studio experience, definately threw my self in at the deep end. Im not really happy with any of the pictures i  picked out a few for the sake of the blog. I had problems with the make shift studio and lack of flashgun, then when we got a studio and a flashgun it didnt want to play with my camera so all in all it was a stressfull nightmare.

What I did enjoy about the shoots was how cool everyone was, everyone seemed to have a laugh and enjoyed themselves, giving the shoot at least some merit. Thanks to everyone who modelled for little P

Bitts Park at night

Me and Mica headed out to Bitts Park at 5am armed with a lunchbox full of toasties, 2 beers and not enough layers. When we set of the sky was completely clear and full of stars, by the time we were set up the clouds had come in, only leaving the minute we packed up. On the bright side the clouds combined with the wind created a crazy atmosphere in the sky so it kinda worked out.

Concrete Carlisle

I am lucky enough to be invloved with Concrete photographing their student nights, nightclub photography is completely new to me so it took a while to get to grips with settings etc. I also struggled with constantly going up to people I dont know asking for photos but i think ive cracked it now and always have a good night there.

Ive uploaded a few of my favourite ones from the nights.
